Not all stars are alike. Certain stars standout as of great significance. One such star is Megastar Chiranjeevi. After doing some insignificant roles during the initial stages of his career. The year 1983 changed his fortunes forever. His action-drama Khaidi made him a star hero overnight, the success of the movie has marked the onset of a star hero on the rise. Chiranjeevi came as a resurgence the audience are looking for and the youth were regaled by power-packed fights and electrifying dances and created his own era, the “Chiranjeevi Era”.
While many are of the opinion that Chiranjeevi earned the star status through hard work, and dedication, there is a section of people who feel that Chiranjeevi wouldn’t have been so successful without the support of his brother-in-law Allu Arvind.
Recently, senior actor Chandra Mohan made some sensational comments about Chiranjeevi. He said Chiranjeevi wouldn’t have been a star hero if he wasn’t supported by Allu Arvind. He said that it was Allu Arvind, who was the mastermind behind Chiranjeevi picking the right scripts and directors. The senior actor also said that though he delivered many super hits in his career, he couldn’t become a star hero because he doesn’t have any backing like Chiranjeevi.
Chiranjeevi’s last three movies Sye Raa, Acharya and God Father have been box-office disasters and the Megastar has pinned all his hopes on his next movie Waltair Veerayya which is set for release on 13th January next year.
