In 2006, Tollywood delivered a blockbuster family drama movie Bommarillu which became a cult classic. Produced by Dil Raju and starring Sidharth and Genelia, the film set the cash registers ringing and even went on to complete 175 days. In 2009 Boney Kapoor had planned its Hindi remake starring Harman Baweja and Genelia in the direction of Aneez Bazmee.
The film was completed but for reasons unknown, it could never release. The film was titled ‘It’s My Life’. Now after me than a decade Boney Kapoor is planning to release it directly on Satellite channel Zee Cinema.
The film shows Nana Patekar in the character of an overbearing father, portrayed by Prakash Raj in the Telugu original. Popular Music directors Shankar, Ehsaan, and Loy scored the music for the film.
