Bollywood Directors Targets Prabhas Again

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, the director of the successful yet controversial film “The Kashmir Files,” has been known to express his views about Pan Indian star Prabhas. Often indirectly taunting or criticizing him for various reasons. Recently, he made some unnecessary comments on Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s film “Salaar,” which is set to clash with his upcoming release, “The Vaccine War,” at the box office.

Vivek has been open about his lack of fear regarding the clash with “Salaar,” citing his previous experience when “The Kashmir Files” released alongside Prabhas’ “Radhe Shyam,” and still managed to perform remarkably well. He is optimistic that history will repeat itself with this clash.

Looking back, “The Kashmir Files” indeed clashed with “Radhe Shyam” on March 11th, 2022. While Vivek’s film turned out to be a surprise blockbuster, Prabhas’ movie faced a major setback at the box office. Even when the teaser of “Salaar” was released, Vivek Agnihotri promptly expressed his opinions on Twitter, criticizing the glamorization of extreme violence in cinema and the promotion of what he called “nonsense cinema” and “non-actor” stars.

Now, Vivek Agnihotri is ready for another clash with “Salaar.” The director, who gained nationwide attention with “The Kashmir Files,” is gearing up for the release of his next film, “The Vaccine War,” on the same date as Prabhas’ “Salaar,” which is scheduled for September 28th, 2023. The outcome of this competition remains to be seen, and fans are eager to witness the clash at the box office.
