There are rumors circulating that Allu Arjun has chosen to step away from director Aditya Dhar’s ambitious project, ‘The Immortal Aswatthama,’ which is said to involve extensive visual effects. It is speculated that the underwhelming response to Om Raut’s Adipurush, both in terms of its visual effects and box-office performance, has made the actor cautious about taking on a mythology-based story heavily reliant on VFX.
Additionally, the substantial amount of time required to create and finalize the grand spectacle for release has reportedly contributed to Arjun’s decision. There is speculation in Tollywood that the actor has instead decided to collaborate with director Trivikram for his next project after completing Pushpa 2: The Rule, in which he is currently involved.
Arjun and Trivikram have previously delivered successful films such as Julayi, S/O Satyamurthy, and the blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. While specific details about the plot of their upcoming film remain scarce, rumors suggest that it will be a full-fledged mass entertainer. Furthermore, it is rumored to be envisioned as a Pan-India venture, with plans for release in multiple languages.
Considering the circumstances, it is also being speculated that Allu Arjun believes only renowned director Rajamouli can handle highly VFX-oriented movies effectively, further adding to his decision to step away from ‘The Immortal Aswatthama.’
