Telangana politics is experiencing unexpected changes as various parties adjust their strategies. While the Congress party shows aggression towards inclusion, BRS and BJP have taken a defensive stance by forming unnecessary alliances. Recently, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi stated that they are not aligned with BRS.
In Nizamabad, he announced that AIMIM will contest in all seats where they have a strong presence in Telangana, including the field of education. There have been recent incidents involving Majlis leaders who were booked and jailed for assaulting Bodhan BRS MLA. Asaduddin expressed his anger towards BRS when he visited the jailed leaders.
In politics, power is never permanent for anyone. AIMIM’s strategy seems to be focused on strengthening their position first and then considering their options strategically, much like batting in a cricket match before deciding whom to target for dismissal. Asaduddin believes that by increasing their strength, AIMIM can play a significant role in the formation of the next government.
The upcoming elections in Telangana are expected to be intense, with predictions suggesting that no single party will secure a full majority. AIMIM’s chief is eager to make an impact in this contest. In the previous assembly meetings, an argument ensued between Akbaruddin and KTR. Consequently, Akbaruddin announced his intention to contest in fifty seats across Telangana. It is noteworthy that Asaduddin is now making similar announcements, indicating a coordinated effort within the AIMIM party.
