Mythri Movie Makers, a powerhouse in the Indian film industry known for their large-scale productions, is broadening its horizons with content-driven films. Their upcoming project, 8 Vasantalu, is a concept-centric film directed by Phanindra Narsetti, whose previous critically acclaimed film Manu made waves internationally. The lead role in 8 Vasantalu is played by Ananthika Sanilkumar, who gained recognition for her performance in MAD. The film has already created significant buzz, thanks to its intriguing first look poster and glimpse.
The newly released teaser opens with Ananthika’s character comforting Kanna Pasunoori, who is struggling with the aftermath of a painful breakup. He dismisses her efforts, insisting that she cannot understand the depth of his sorrow. In response, she reflects on her own heartbreak from her first love with Hanu Reddy. With a thoughtful pause, she gently tells him, “Every heart carries its own hidden storms. Some reveal them, others keep them inside. That’s the only difference.”
