Until a few months ago, there was a huge roar about the movie LIGER directed by Puri Jagannadh which had Vijay Deverakonda as the hero. The makers were too confident that the movie would become a blockbuster and that Vijay Deverakonda will be the next biggest star in India. Vijay Deverakonda even went overboard and made some satirical comments on star heroes who came from family backgrounds.
But, the movie went on to become the biggest disaster leaving everyone shocked. Even before they could forget it, the Enforcement Directorate started questioning Puri Jagannadh and Charmee about the financial transactions. Now, the ED officials have questioned the hero Vijay Deverakonda.
ED is acting upon a case filed by a Congress leader from Warangal, Bakka Judson alleging that several politicians had invested in the Rs 125 crores movie in order to turn black money into white. Since then ED is questioning everyone related to the film.
Vijay Deverakonda after 12 hours of questioning spoke to the media. He said, ” I came here today morning upon their call. They needed some clarifications and I gave answers to all the questions. They are doing their duty. You give me so much love and that love gives me popularity and fame. And that popularity comes with some side effects. This is one such thing. This is an experience for me in life. I did my duty when I was called. I came and answered the questions. There were no allegations. They needed some clarifications and I provided them.”
