SS Rajamouli is the biggest commercial director in Indian cinema. The biggest producers and stars will be dying to work with him. The director has a 100% success rate and his image is crossed across borders. But, no one knows that two movies have been shelved even before hitting the sets.
Rajamouli, who marked his debut as a director with NTR’s ‘Student No 1’ planned a lavish budget war drama with Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal and even did the sketch works with the art director. However, the movie was shelved even before the shoot began due to budget constraints.
Apart from this, Rajamouli was supposed to direct another folklore drama featuring K. Raghavendra Rao’s son Prakash. This movie too got shelved due to some unsaid reasons. Rajamouli is currently busy with the pre-production works of Mahesh Babu’s movie which is likely to hit the sets next year.
