Tollywood has witnessed several mulitistarrers in the past. The first-generation superstars NTR, and ANR appeared in several movies together and their next-generation heroes Krishna, Shoban Babu, and Krishnam Raju also shared the screen space.
However, the trend of multistarrers vanished for over two decades during the time of Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, and Balakrishna. Though director K. Raghavendra Rao tried for a multistarrer with Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh, it could not get materialized.
Now, after several decades, producer Allu Arvind seems to be in plans to produce a multistarrer with Chiranjeevi, and Balakrishna. Allu Arvind said the same in the Unstoppable episode hosted by Balakrishna.
Reacting to Allu Arvind’s idea, Balakrishna said that his and Chiranjeevi’s combination would be a Pan-world movie and he said he has few conditions to accept the offer. He said that introduction song and dance moments should be composed on Chiranjeevi and fights and climax fight scenes should be shot on him.
As of now, it’s only speculation. It remains to be seen whether this most anticipated multistarrer would ever happen. As the trend of multistarrers has caught up in Tollywood in recent times, it shouldn’t be a tough task if Allu Arvind finds the right script and director.
