After the colossal failures of ‘Sye Raa’ and ‘Acharya’, Chiranjeevi tried his luck at the box office with ‘God Father’ an official remake of the Malayalam movie ‘Lucifer’. Directed by Mohan Raja of ‘Hanuman Junction’ fame, the movie was released for Dasara this year with Nagarjuna’s ‘The Ghost’ movie.
Released amidst huge expectations, the movie received a positive talk from all quarters but the movie collections were moderate and ended up as an average grosser. The movie’s digital rights have been acquired by the OTT giant Netflix and as per the sources, ‘God Father’ is all set to stream on Netflix from 19th November.
Also featuring Nayanatara and Satya Dev in key roles, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan played a crucial cameo role in the movie. S Thaman scored the music and the movie was jointly produced by Super Good Films and Konidela productions.
