Despite the heavy influx of young heroines, Sai Pallavi has made a special mark for herself. An actress with tons of talent, she’s very finicky about the movies she chose and is averse doing the glamorous roles which most heroines don’t mind for intimate scenes and skin shows.
Sai Pallavi who won laurels for her role in Fidaa, Love Story movies is receiving rave reviews from critics for her role of Vennela in the latest release Virata Parvam. She was seen as the women who goes in search of Ravanna, a Naxalite leader played by Rana whom she loves and admires.
Not just in the movie, but Sai Pallavi had a crush in real life too. She recalled the incident in a recent conversation about the film with the YouTube channel My Village Show, facilitated by Netflix.
“I wrote a letter to a boy, it was in my childhood,” she added.
“Maybe when I was in my 7th standard. I was caught. My parents hit me hard,” she said.
When the same question was put to her co-star Rana Daggubati, who replied that he wrote one to his late grandfather– filmmaker Daggubati Ramanaidu.
He said, “Well, I wrote one to my Grandfather in Karamchedu in my childhood. That was all. I didn’t write letters to anyone after that.”
Virata Parvam released in theatres on June 17, but didn’t do wonders at the box-office though the movie was praised by critics and audience.
