Till a couple of years, back many used to rubbish all the talk of developing Visakhapatnam as the Tollywood’s new hub. They used to say when Hyderabad has all the world-class facilities for filmmaking, who will take pains to develop another Tollywood in Vizag.
But the recent developments and fast-paced political activities in the last few days shows that Vizag Tollywood is getting a powerful political boost. With AP CM Jagan sending positive signals, Tollywood celebrities like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Suresh Babu, Venkatesh, Dil Raju, and others are thinking seriously about developing Vizag on the lines of Hongkong.
Many of them like Chiranjeevi, Rajamouli, KS. Ramarao, Nagarjuna, Suresh Babu, Allu Aravind, C. Kalyan, and others are interested in coming out with world-class studios in Vizag. Apart from it, even many politicians are showing interest in powering Vizag Tollywood.
Inside talk is Bheemili YSRCP Minister Avanti Srinivasa Rao (Muttamsetty Srinivasa Rao), Jagan’s right hand, Minister Vijay Sai Reddy, Minister Perni Nani are keen to develop Vizag Tollywood at any cost. Even TDP leader from Visakhapatnam, Ganta Srinivasa Rao is showing interest in the same.
Since Ganta is close to Chiranjeevi, for long he has been dreaming of Vizag Tollywood. Minister Avanti Srinivas many times announced that AP CM Jagan is very keen on Vizag Tollywood. Now Tollywood in Hyderabad is discussing seriously the developments.
Already Avanti Srinivas announced that Vizag Tollywood would be developed near Bheemili. He said Jagan is very clear on the capital city near Kapuluppada in Vizag and also on Tollywood in the city. Many MLAs from Vizag are waiting eagerly for Tollywood to come to Vizag. They are saying that people of four districts and also East and West Godavari are dreaming of Vizag being the capital city and also having Tollywood in it. What is surprising all is even people of Amaravathi, Guntur belt, Krishna, Prakasam districts said Tollywood should come to Vizag.
