Virat Kohli has fond memories of Chiranjeevi?

Megastar Chiranjeevi enjoyed an unparalleled stardom for over three decades in Tollywood. He even acted in a few Hindi movies but didn’t continue in Bollywood, however, Chiranjeevi is a known-name in Bollywood. Team India’s former captain Virat Kohli’s childhood friend Dwaraka Ravi Teja has revealed a few interesting facts that are associated with Chiranjeevi.

Both Virat Kohli and Ravi Teja were roommates during their U-15 days. Ravi, who was a big fan of Chiranjeevi used to watch the Megastar’s songs on TV and Kohli used to dance to them. From then, both never called themselves by their names and had Chiru as their nickname. From that moment whenever they both meet, they used to address each other as Chiru.

Ravi met Kohli who was in the UK for the England series. He ended the post by writing “It was great seeing u Chiru and hope to meet u again super soon”. This post went viral on social media in no time.

Ravi’s post:

Met him after 6 long years after IPL in UK and the first thing he tells me is Chiru kaisa hai tu?

Throwback to U-15 days when we were roommates and I used to watch Chiranjeevi’s songs on tv and he used to dance to them and from then on we never called each other by our names and Chiru was the nickname we gave each other and whenever we met post that we always called each other Chiru. Such fond memories and even after so many years everything still felt the same and nothing has changed. It was great seeing u Chiru and hope to meet u again super soon.
