TDP’s Velagapudi challenges YSRCP’s Vijay Sai Reddy to come to Vizag

While he held a press conference a couple of day back, he once again threw an open challenge to Vijay Sai Reddy today. He said that not his representatives, but Vijay Sai Reddy must come to Vizag and Sai Baba temple in particular and sign a document to sort out the allegations made against him.

Velagapudi has been insisting that he has no benami lands and none of his people have occupied other people’s lands. The Vizag East MLA said that neither he nor his entire family had any benami properties in Hyderabad, Vizag, Amaravathi, Vijayawada and other places. He said it was unfair for Vijay Sai Reddy to send papers to him regarding land issues. Velagapudi further claimed that he was an elected representative of the people while Vijay Sai made his entry through Rajya Sabha.

Velagapudi said it was unfair to throw people out of their homes in the middle of the night, without showing them alternate option. He also mentioned that people in Ramakrishnapuram and Krishnapuram had been staying there for past 30-40 years.

If proven guilty of usurping even one foot of land, Velagapudi said he would retire from political life. On the other hand, if Vijay Sai Reddy is proven guilty, then he must give up his membership from Rajya Sabha, said Velagapudi.

Supporters of Velagapudi joined him today holding portraits of Sai Baba.
