SS Rajamouli is the most prominent commercial director in India at the moment. In his two-decade-long career, Rajamouli hasn’t delivered a single flop to date and his craze is increasing for every movie. The director who is busy with the script work for Mahesh Babu’s movie has an interesting story behind his marriage.
Rajamouli was brought up in a middle-class family and his father Vijayendra Prasad’s earnings were not too high to maintain the family. His brother MM Keeravani, the leading music director in the 1990s helped them financially during the tough times.
In the late 90s, Rajamouli entered the Television industry and worked on TV serials before taking the plunge into the movies. Everyone knows that the costume designer Rama is his dear wife, but not many know that she was already married before getting into wedlock with Rajamouli.
Rama is the younger sister of MM Keeravani’s wife and she was divorced from his former husband after their son Karthikeya was born. Later, she and Rajamouli fell in love and got married in 2001 after their wedding Rajamouli’s fate turned and he became a film director.
