TRS working president and the IT minister of Telangana, K Tarakarama Rao asked his party forces to be prepared for the forthcoming GHMC election.
KTR called for a high-level meeting with public representatives and corporators today and discussed the poll strategy.
“GHMC election will be held after the second week of November. It came to my notice that 15 corporators in GHMC area are not performing to the best of their capabilities. I advise them to amend their ways and act in the best interests of common public,” KTR said in the meeting.
KTR stated that a total of Rs 60,000 crores were spent towards the development of Greater Hyderabad area in the last few years. He added that TRS forces should work tirelessly and ensure a thumping victory in the GHMC election.
KTR advised TRS cadre to also focus on graduate MLC election which would be held soon.
As per early estimates, TRS might be bagging not less than 100 seats in the forthcoming GHMC election.
