Actor Suriya has a good following in Telugu and so does his brother Karthi. But, Karthi is quite fluent in Telugu and has done a straight Telugu movie Oopiri which also featured Nagarjuna Akkineni. However, Suriya hasn’t done a straight Telugu film though he is willing to do one.
Now, as per the latest updates, Suriya has signed a Telugu movie which will be bankrolled by Prabhas’s UV creations and the movie will be directed by Shiva of Shouryam fame. Earlier Dil Raju tried to do a Telugu movie with Suriya under Boyapati’s direction but it didn’t materialize.
On the work front, Suriya is busy with Bala’s Vanangaan and some other projects which are still in pre-production stages. More details about Suriya’s Telugu debut movie will be revealed by the production house soon.
