Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza shocked everyone after she went ahead and marry Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik way back in 2010. The couple was blessed with a baby boy in 2018. And now, Sania Mirza is all set to shock again with the divorce.
Speculations have been rife about the Sania and Shoaib parting ways after 12 years of marriage. Neither Sania nor Shoaib has commented on the rumors yet. But of late, Sania Mirza has been sharing cryptic posts on Instagram.
Though the actual reason for the rift is still to be known, it is assumed that the main reason behind their fallout is Pakistani model Ayesha Omar. Shoaib Malik had done an intimate photo shoot in the recent past with Ayesha. It’s also buzzed that Shoaib is having an extramarital affair with Ayesha and Sania has recently got to know about the same.
As per a news report, the couple’s close friend who was also a part of Shoaib Malik’s management team in Pakistan has confirmed their divorce. He revealed, “Yes, they are officially divorced now. I can’t disclose more than that but can confirm that they have separated.”
