Sequel getting ready for the sensational blockbuster

If a movie becomes a sensational hit and has the potential to be extended through further and continuing story development, sequels will be made. Though sequels have proven successful in Hollywood, the success ratio was not great in Indian movies till a few years ago, however, the craze for sequels has been increasing in both Bollywood and south cinema.

Director Shankar who was a sensation in the early 90s till the mid-2000s has been trying hard for the sequel of his 1996 movie Indian and even the shooting started. But, due to a disagreement on the budget between Shankar and the producer, the movie’s shooting was halted.

As per the sources, both the director and producer have agreed and decided to proceed with the shooting. The movie’s shooting is likely to resume in September and Shankar will manage Indian 2 and Ram Charan’s movie simultaneously.

Starring Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles, the movie will also have Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh in other important roles.
