PUBG Mobile, the popular battle royale game Which ruled the gaming industry was recently banned in India. As the game was developed by Tencent Games, a Chinese company, India had concerns over user privacy and hence the app was removed.
According to some reports, the South Korean company Krafton, the owner of Pubg Corporation, posted some jobs on LinkedIn on the 20th of this month for recruitment in India.
The job listing is for the position of ‘Corporate Development Division – India’ and according to the description of the job, PUBG will also be setting up offices in India as one of the line states ‘working from home in India or the city where PUBG India will be set up’.
As per the sources, more than 200 applicants had registered for the position. It is expected that PUBG Corporation is confident of making a return to the country when they are appointing a workforce to manage the process.
