Nikhil Siddharth is one of the happening heroes in Tollywood. Though there was a brief lull in his career, he bounced back with some decent hits and is all geared up for the thriller Karthikeya 2. The young actor who made his debut with Sekhar Kammula’s youthful entertainer Happy Days made some interesting comments recently.
Nikhil, who played one of the heroes in the movie said that he was asked to pay Rs 1 lakh for his role in the movie. He also revealed that the budding actors need to bribe to get the desired roles and nothing comes for free in the industry.
Nikhil’s comments after 15 years of his debut became a hot topic. Recently, the actor made a controversial statement that some big names are trying to block his movie’s release. “They requested that we push back the release of the movie until October or November, warning us that it might not happen anytime soon. I sobbed a lot thinking about the scenario when they told us we wouldn’t have enough theatres and screens for the film’s debut,” Nikhil reportedly stated.
