Cricket fans in the country of India were disappointed as the cash-rich IPL was postponed due to the lockdown situation. But they were happy when news came out that the tournament will be held in Dubai from September.
But there was a new backlash over the tournament as it is being sponsored by VIVO, the Chinese company. So, the board removed them and brought a new big for new sponsors, and finally, the deal has been fixed.
Dream 11 made a bid of Rs 222 crore and won the rights to sponsorship. This is big news and they will hold the rights for the next three years is the talk. The tournament will start on September 19th.
