Manchu Vishnu who has been facing several disasters for the past few years has pinned all his hopes on his upcoming movie GINNA. While some fans are impressed with the unique title, a huge controversy erupted over the movie’s title.
A few ardent Hindu devotees objected on the movie’s title and also angry with the title being shown in the backdrop of holy shrine of Tirupathi. BJP leader Vishunvardhan Reddy slammed Manchu Vishnu and the movie makers for insulting the Hindu sentiments.
Senior writer Kona Venkat who has given the story and screen play for the movie explained further that the hero’s character’s name is Gaali Nageshwara Rao in the movie and he shortens it as GINNA as he doesn’t like his name.
Kona Venkata also said the team will hold discussions with the other stakeholders in the film and take a final decision over the film’s title. The film is directed by Eshan Surya which has Sunny Leone and Payal Rajput as the female leads.
