JD Chakravarthy who rose to instant fame with Ram Gopal Varma’s cult classic Shiva has become a heartthrob among the youth with his movies Gulabi, Anaganaga Oka Roju, and a few other movies. Later, he moved to Bollywood with Satya and tried his luck there as an actor and director too, but the success was short-lived.
Though JD was a talented actor, it’s his over-enthusiasm and reckless attitude that irked many filmmakers. Popular choreographer and director Amma Rajasekhar shared one such bad incident with JD Chakravarthy.
He said that though everyone warned him, he went ahead and started shooting for Ugram movie with JD as the hero. Though it was good for the initial few months, later JD Chakravarthy intervened in the movie-making and made things worse.
Amma Rajasekhar also blamed JD and his friends for cheating him by not paying remuneration despite pleading when his mother was hospitalized. The director said that JD’s career graph went down due to his wrongdoings.
