Megastar Chiranjeevi is one of the biggest superstars of Telugu cinema. At the peak of his stardom, he charged more than even the biggest superstars like Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth. In fact, Chiranjeevi was the first actor to take Rs 1 crore as remuneration in India.
After a decade-long self-imposed exile from the movies, Chiranjeevi is busy with the movies again. Recently, he made some funny remarks about his own family members do not know his stardom.
He said that he is insulted by his own family members. Sharing the details, he said that all his grandchildren always watch his son Ram Charan and nephews Varun Tej, Vaishnav Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, and Allu Arjun’s movies. They never used to bother about my films, songs, and dances and it increased my jealousy.
He said “During the lockdown time, I had to boast about my films and showed them my films, dances, and fights. From then on they got surprised and started remarking ‘ Bhayya. Are you this?” Even now everyone calls me Bhayya..The good thing is they loved Godfather and watched it 3-4 times.
Currently, Chiranjeevi is busy with ‘Waltair Veerayya’ and ‘Bhola Shankar’ movies which are set for grand release next year.
