Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is a happy man as he scored a hit after over seven years and he’s in a celebration mood. The actor who last scored a hit with Pataas has bounced back with the recent release Bimbisara which is declared a hit at the box office.
Directed by the debutant Vasshist, the movie is a fantasy thriller based on the time travel concept and the audience has loved it immensely. As per the sources, the movie’s digital rights have been bagged by Zee5 for a whopping amount and most are most likely to stream on Zee 5 after eight weeks.
The movie is all about a ruthless king ‘Bimbisara’ who lands in the present day due to a curse and how reforming himself is the movie’s story all about. Catherine Tresa and Samyuktha Menon played the female lead in the movie. Kalyan Ram has announced the sequel already and said the second part will be much bigger and grander than the first part.
Along with Bimbisara, Hanu Raghavapudi’s love story Sita Ramam was released in theatres, and the movie has been declared a super hit. The movie’s OTT rights have been bagged by Amazon Prime and the movie will be streamed in the next few weeks.
