Senior leaders are must for victory: Pawan Kalyan

The election fever is just turning on in Andhra Pradesh with Jagan’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra coming to an end and Pawan Kalyan trying to forge an alliance with left parties even before the release of Election Notification. YSRCP will be competing alone and the ruling party in all likelihood may work together with the Indian National Congress party in AP.

Sources said that Pawan Kalyan is in a hunt to establish district committees and even finish the seat adjustment process with the left parties well before the release of election notification. To this effect, Janasenani and the leaders of the left parties Madhu and Ramakrishnudu along with Nadendla Manohar conveyed a meeting in Vijayawada. The leaders have agreed to release a common election manefesto. However, a clear decision on the seat-sharing among the parties will only be taken after Sankranti.

Meanwhile, addressing the district leaders Pawan Kalyan said that senior leaders are the guiding lights and one cannot win in an election without their help. “We cannot win an election with total young blood. Senior leaders are must for a victory. I have made my decision on the number of seats to allocate for the young and newcomers”, Pawan said. Though this decision is the complete opposite of what Pawan Kalyan preached in the beginning, analysts are of the opinion that Pawan has finally studied the political equation to win an election.

We will have to wait and see how many senior leaders will join Janasena in the coming months.
