Pawan’s hunger strike, Jagan backtracks?

Power Star Pawan Kalyan chief of Jana Sena is trying his best to take political advantage highlighting the failures and controversial decisions of AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and the YSRCP government. He is now keen to make an issue out of Jagan’s controversial decision to auction the lands belonging to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) across the country.

Pawan Kalyan gave a call to all the devotees of Lord Venkateswara and Jana Sainiks to sit on a one-day hunger strike today starting from 9 AM and end it by 5 PM. He posted “I request all Lord Balaji Devotees, Janasainiks, Veermahilas and JSP Leaders to participate in this hunger protest against the sale of TTD lands by AP Govt.”

Now the question is will Pawan Kalyan’s call for hunger protest show its power. In the meantime reports are coming that Jagan’s sarcar facing huge criticism from all quarters decided to keep the TTD properties Auction GO under abeyance till further notice.

Pawan Kalyan can claim victory of sorts as Jagan’s government issued a clarification that they have decided not to auction the TTD properties. The new GO 888 which kept GO No 253 under abeyance reads “Keeping in view of the sentiments of devotees, the Government hereby directs TTD to re-examine the issue in consultation with different stakeholders like religious elders, opinion makers, a section of devotees, etc., to ascertain whether these properties can be used by TTD for construction of temples, dharma pracharam, and other religious activities. Till the finalization of the matter stated above, the proposed disposal of 50 properties by TTD is hereby kept in abeyance,”
