Varshini Sounderajan is one of the happening anchors in Telugu small screen industry. The young actress has a strong presence on social media as she frequently posts sizzling snaps of herself on her social media handles.
In her latest interaction with media, Varshini shared her bitter casting couch experience which took place very recently.
”Prior to the lockdown I was asked to meet with a director who was set to direct a web series and went to his office. He narrated the story first and everything went fine up until then. But all of a sudden, he grabbed my hand and showed wrong intentions. I stormed out of the office”, she said.
Varshini added that she cried for two days post this incident and shared her experience with only two of her close friends till now. She did not reveal the name of the director or the project though.
Going by Varshini’s comments, it appears to be that casting couch is very much existant in Tollywood.
