Vijay’s fans are on a high thanks to the updates on Vijay’s Master. It has now been said that Master’s trailer will be out on January 1, 2021. The film is slated for a Sankranti release on January 13.
But there seems to be another good news for his fans. Vijay was seen meeting director Atlee at his office in Chennai. So anticipation is high that Atlee and Vijay could have discussed Thalapathy 65. The duo has already worked in three films – Theri, Mersal and Bigil.
It will be their fourth collaboration if the film takes off. However, the initial choice for the film was AR Murugadoss. But he backed out of the film. Nelson Dilip Kumar who had earlier directed Nayanatara in Kolamaavu Kokila has also been approached for the film.
But there is no clarity from that front too. Now, with Atlee coming into picture, Vijay’s fans are thrilled. However, neither Vijay nor Atlee have spoken about the meeting.
Meanwhile, Atlee has been trying to make inroads into Bollywood. He met up with Shah Rukh Khan for a film titled Sanki. King Khan was to play a double role. But the film has been postponed indefinitely. The director is also in talks with Varun Dhawan.
