Keerthy Suresh is today one of the most sought-after heroines in south India, when it comes to performance-oriented roles. Post success of Mahanati, in which she played yesteryears icon Savitri, Keerthy Suresh turned choosy-picky about her roles.
Now, news from tollywood film circles is that the Mahanati actress has made her entry into the mega compound. Rumours are rife that Keerthy might play megastar’s sister in the Telugu remake of Vedalam. On the other hand, there is another rumour that she could be playing megastar’s heroine in the film.
In Ajith’s Vedalam, Thamizh plays an important role and the character was played by Lakshmi Menon in Tamil, who won accolades from critics and viewers. The heroine was played by Shruti Haasan. Now, Keerthy Suresh is in consideration for both roles. However, one cannot tell till she signs the dotted line.
Meanwhile, she has bagged a role opposite another hero from the mega compound. And that happens to be Sai Dharam Teja. Sai Dharam Teja will be having the first theatrical release in Telugu with his Solo Bratuke So Bettaru, post pandemic. The film will hit the screens on December 26. He also signed two other films. One will be with director Dev Katta and another film will be with Karthik Dandu. Touted to be a mythological thriller, the film will have Keerthy Suresh as the heroine. The screenplay of the film is being provided by star director Sukumar.
So, whether it’s remake of Vedalam or mythological thriller of Sai Dharam Teja, entering the mega compound will mean a huge boost to the career of this Malayalee beauty.
