Vivek deletes his tweet

After sharing a meme on Exit Polls actor Vivek Oberoi was all over in news yesterday. The meme had Vivek’s ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who is now happily married to Abhishek Bachchan. Many were unimpressed, showed their hatred and asked him to apologise and delete the tweet.

However, Vivek defended and eventually landed in trouble. Vivek was served notices from National Commission for Woman to Maharashtra Woman Commission. HJ bowed down only when pressure mounted on him. He then took to his official Twitter handle and conveyed his message.

“Sometimes what appears to be funny and harmless at first glance to one, may not be so to others. I have spent the last 10 years empowering more than 2000 underprivileged girls, I can’t even think of being disrespectful to any woman ever. Even if one woman is offended by my reply to the meme, it calls for remedial action. Apologies tweet deleted,” wrote Vivek.
When it comes to work, Vivek will be next seen in the biopic of Modi, titled PM Narendra Modi.
