Actor Vishwak Sen, initially adamant about the release of “Gangs Of Godavari” in December, later came to terms with the reality. The film’s revised release date is now set for March 8th, but there are indications that it might face another postponement.
A setback in the form of a personal loss in music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja’s family has reportedly led to a delay in the background score work for “Gangs Of Godavari.” Additionally, the team is currently engaged in shooting a special song featuring Bigg Boss fame Ayesha Khan.
Amidst the uncertainty surrounding the release date, other films are already eyeing and securing the March 8th slot. “Gam Gam Ganesha” starring Anand Deverakonda and “Operation Valentine” featuring Varun Tej, initially set for March 1st, might also move to March 8th due to technical issues. Gopichand’s “Bheema” has already confirmed its release on March 8th.
In case “Gangs of Godavari” decides to steer clear of the March 8th release, the options are March 15th or 22nd. “Tillu Square” has claimed March 29th, and Vijay Devarakonda’s “Family Star” is scheduled for April 5th. The constant shifts and clashes with other releases are posing challenges for “Gangs Of Godavari” to achieve a solo release. Meanwhile, Vishwak Sen’s “Gaami” is gearing up for promotions.
