Tamil Superstar Vijay’s Master was supposed to hit the screens in the month of April but unfortunately, the film has been awaiting its release from the past eight months due to pandemic. Meanwhile, a Diwali festival special, the makers have unveiled the film’s first look teaser a couple of weeks ago.
Talk is also that the film will be hitting the screens during Pongal 2020. Meanwhile, from the past few days, news has been circulating that the team has closed a hefty deal with one of the leading OTT platforms for the direct digital release of the film. Responding to the speculations, the makers have released an official press note and clarified once again that the film will be released only in the theatres. But sadly, they remained tight-lipped on the release date.
Some Kollywood sources reveal that if Master fails to see the day of light during Pongal season, it will be out during early summer.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master has Vijay Sethupathi in a crucial role. Anirudh is the film’s music composer.
