Samantha Ruth Prabhu is known as a fitness freak and she takes utmost care of her health. However, the actress shocked everyone by revealing that she was diagnosed with a rare disease Myositis. Ever since she posted it on social media, all her friends, and celebrities have responded and wished her a speedy recovery.
Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar who is playing a key role in the upcoming thriller ‘Yashoda’ revealed some interesting news about Samantha’s health issues and the disease. “When the movie was in the making, the disorder was not yet diagnosed as far as I know. Maybe, she had it by then but we didn’t know it or how she was coping with it. She didn’t fall sick during the shoot. I think it got worse only after the shoot of ‘Yashoda’ was over. She is recovering fast. She will recover,” Varalaxmi said.
Both Samantha and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar have become good friends on the sets of the movie. As Samantha is undergoing treatment currently, she’s not going to participate in the movie promotions. The movie ‘Yashoda’ is slated for an 11th November release.
