The sizzling actress who made quite a splash with Hrithik Roshan’s Yash Raj Film War, has officially confirmed that the shooting of Bell Bottom has been wrapped up.
The Befikre actress was shooting with Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureishi and Lara Dutta for the spy thriller. The film is being directed by Ranjit M Tewari and is being produced by Pooja Entertainment and Emmay Entertainment. The film is based on true events during the 1980s and tracks the stories of some unforgettable heroes from that period.
The shooting was put on hold due to COVID, but it resumed shooting in London and Scotland in August, 2020. Bell Bottom will hit the screens on April 2, 2021. It was supposed to release on Republic Day 2021, but will now release in April.
Incidentally, the film happens to be the first film for Vaani Kapoor outside YRF banner. Vaani Kapoor in a social media post profusely thanked her producers Vashu Bhagnani and family, as she took off to Chandigarh for her next with Ayushmann Khurana.
She will start shooting for Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui with Ayushmann, to be helmed by Abhishek Kapoor.
