“Unstoppable: Unlimited Fun,” a comedy film featuring Bigg Boss fame VJ Sunny and comedian Sapthagiri, hit theaters today. Let’s dive into our review to discover how the film fared.

Story:

“Unstoppable: Unlimited Fun” follows the misadventures of two friends, Kohinoor Kalyan (VJ Sunny) and Jilani Ramadas (Sapthagiri), who lose the money saved for Jilani’s sister’s wedding in a cricket betting mishap. Desperate to recover the funds, they seek assistance from their friend Honey Babu (Shakalaka Shankar). However, a mistaken money transfer leads them to Gnanavel Raja, a notorious don known as Kadhar (Vikram Aditya). Kalyan and Ramadas find themselves kidnapped while trying to reclaim their money. What unfolds next? Does the villain return their money? How do Kalyan and Ramadas handle the situation? The movie holds the answers.

Plus Points:

VJ Sunny, the winner of Bigg Boss Telugu-Season 5, delivers an entertaining performance, showcasing his rough and tough side reminiscent of his role in the ATM series. His comedic timing adds charm to his portrayal.

Saptagiri, an established comedian, brings his trademark comedy timing and expressions to the film, delivering a stellar performance.

Posani Krishna Murali and Bittiri Satthi effectively contribute to filling the gaps in the film. Director Diamond Ratna Babu handles a simple story competently, and the music enhances certain moments of the film.

Minus Points:

The storyline of “Unstoppable: Unlimited Fun” lacks novelty and feels outdated, making it predictable for seasoned movie buffs. Furthermore, the storytelling falls short of expectations.

Despite attempts to generate comedy through various characters, the film fails to deliver genuinely hilarious moments. Memorable comedic scenes are lacking.

Apart from the main characters, the film features a forgettable heroine who adds little value to the narrative. Additionally, several supporting characters lack proper characterization.

The initial portrayal of the villain as a ruthless individual lacks consistency in the latter half. The conflict scenes between the villain and the protagonists could have been better designed.

The songs are forgettable, but Bheems Ceciroleo’s score manages to salvage the film to some extent. Moreover, proper lip-sync is missing in several instances.

Verdict:

Overall, “Unstoppable: Unlimited Fun” disappoints audiences due to its routine storyline and weak screenplay. While VJ Sunny and Sapthagiri deliver commendable performances, the film lacks memorable moments.
