Samantha’s thriller Yashoda movie which was released a few weeks ago has ended its full run in theatres and resulted in an average movie. The movie is all geared up for the OTT release on 19th December, but here comes a rude shock to the movie team.
As the movie dealt with the surrogacy mafia, the makers showed EVA Hospital indulging in illegal surrogacy activities. Now, the management of EVA IVF hospital approached the court requesting to stop the film’s OTT release.
The Hyderabad civil court after hearing the petition served notices to the filmmakers asking them to respond and posted the next hearing to December 19. In fact, Yashoda OTT streaming is scheduled on December 19, 2022.
Directed by Hari and Harish, the film starred Unni Mukundan, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, and Divya Sripada in key roles.
