Promotional activities are in full swing for Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s unique action thriller Eagle, and the teaser and first single received a thumping response. Both showed Ravi Teja in a never-before mass and action-packed avatar. Directed by Karthik Gattamaneni and produced by Tollywood’s leading production house, People Media Factory, the movie’s theatrical trailer was launched today.
The trailer opens with a serious conversation between Navdeep and Anupama Parameswaran, as the latter is curious to know about the man most wanted by the police, gangsters, and even Naxalites. “Thupaki Nundi Vache Bullet Aagedi Eppudo Thelusaa… Adi Pattukunna Vadini Thakinappudu… (Did you ever know that a bullet from a gun stops when it hits the person holding it),” says Navdeep.
He is a ruthless assassin who is on a mission. He’s not an ordinary man who has transacted in Turkey, Germany, and Japan. He created destruction across the country, and his story is the biggest fantasy action adventure in the last 10 years.
It’s all about the protagonist, played by Ravi Teja, who appeared in two different get-ups. He has a girlfriend, played by Kavya Thapar, who hates guns and fears bullets but changes her opinion after his entry into her life.
‘Ayudham Tho Vidhwasam Chesevaadu Rakshasudu… Aayudham Tho Vidhwasam Aape Vaadu Devudu… Ee Devudu Manchodu Kaadu… Mondodu… (The one who destroys with a weapon is a demon… The one who stops the destruction with a weapon is a God… This God is not good… he is stubborn…),” says Ravi Teja towards the end of the trailer.
The trailer is packed with action, drama, love and emotion. The hard-hitting Dialogues are penned by Manibabu Karanam, who has earlier written for the successful film Karthikeya2. Karthik Ghattamaneni penned a larger-than-life story and presented Ravi Teja as a first-of-its-kind character. The taking is top class. Karthik is also the movie editor and wrote the screenplay alongside Manibabu Karanam. Srinagendra Tangala is the production designer.
Ravi Teja showed variance in two different get-ups. While he looked like a Loverboy in a clean-shaven look, he looked intense and rugged with a beard and long hair. He brought that intensity to the character with his impeccable screen presence. He indeed showed Mass Vishwaroopam.
Kavya Thapar is cool as Ravi Teja’s ladylove, while Anupama Parameshwaran seems to have a meaty role. Navdeep, Srinivas Avasarala, and Madhubala are the other important cast.
The cinematography by Karthik Gattamneni, Kamil Plocki, and Karm Chawla is brilliant, whereas the thumping score by Davzand elevated the heroism. TG Vishwa Prasad is producing the movie, while Vivek Kuchibhotla is the co-producer. The production values are solid.
The trailer has lived up to all the hype, and now the excitement to watch the movie has doubled.
Eagle is scheduled for its theatrical release on January 13th, 2024.
