The drug nexus within the Telugu film industry has taken a new twist as popular producer KP Choudhary. Who acquired the Telugu rights for Superstar Rajinikanth’s film Kabali, has been arrested by the police in connection with a drug racket case. The Cyberabad Police took Choudhary into custody and confiscated cocaine from him.
Reports indicate that KP Choudhary had been residing in Goa for the past few months. The Hyderabad police discovered his involvement with the drug racket during their investigation into the network.
Upon this discovery, they promptly arrested him and seized cocaine. Further details regarding the arrest are yet to be revealed, and an official statement from the police department is expected to be released soon.
This incident marks another instance of a Tollywood celebrity being apprehended in a drug racket case. Previously, individuals such as Puri Jagannath, Charmme, Rana Daggubati, Ravi Teja, Mumaith Khan, Navdeep, Nandu, Tarun, and Tanish have faced questioning by the police in relation to drug racketeering.
