Rajamouli couple of weeks back had taken the initiative requesting Telangana CM KCR and Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy to give permissions for film shoots. He even promised to show them how shootings could be done with less than 50 members for scenes that require more than 200 members in normal time.
Rajamouli is planning to start the trial shoot of RRR in Gandipet on June 25. He earlier planned to start the shoot last week but he couldn’t get the permissions. Rajamouli is planning two days trail shoot taking all precautions like PPE Kits, masks, etc.
But sources say top stars like NTR, Ram Charan are not keen on participating in the shoot. The same is the case with Alia Bhatt who called and informed him that she couldn’t take any chances during coronavirus till the situation returns normally. They feel that they can slash their remuneration and start shooting later but better not to take the risks during coronavirus. Rajamouli however is planning to proceed ahead with the shoot as he feels even if he completes the trial shoot with dupes, it will set new precedence during coronavirus pandemic.
