The latest update is that Amazon Prime, Vashu Bhagnani, and the Dhawan’s are in talks with single screen owners of the country exploring the possibility of a hybrid release this Christmas. With multiplex owners decided against airing OTT films, the makers are now targetting single screens.
Starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan, Coolie No. 1 marks the 45th directorial venture for David Dhawan, will premiere direct to digital on Amazon Prime. The film is made with a moderate budget and the makers have already started the promotions on a big scale.
