It is known that after the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, his son, NCP (Ajit Pawar) leader Jeeshan Siddique and Bollywood actor Salman Khan received threatening calls. The unknown persons threatened to kill them. The police confirmed that the threatening calls were received on October 25.
Jeeshan Siddique’s office staff complained to the police about these threats. According to the complaint, the police registered a case and started investigation. The person who made the threats was identified as Mohammad Tayyab, a 20-year-old man from Noida. He was recently arrested.
But.. There were threats on October 17 as well. In order to stay alive, Salman Khan was warned to pay Rs 5 crore to end his feud with the Bishnoi gang. To this effect, a message was sent to the WhatsApp number of the Mumbai Traffic Police on the night of October 17.
Alerted by this, the police started working to find out who the number was and where the message came from. It is known that Sheikh Hussain Sheikh Mousin, a 24-year-old vegetable seller of Jamshedpur, was arrested in this case. Zeeshan Siddique has recently joined Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party. The Congress party unveiled Zeesan in August. The move was taken in the context of cross voting in MLC elections.
Zeeshan will contest on NCP ticket from Bandra East in the soon to be held Maharashtra assembly elections. In the 2019 election, he contested against Varun Sardesai from that seat and won. He won against former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray’s nephew Varun.
