The whole Indian cinema is going ga ga over Baahubali which made Indian cinema proud, but, no one forecasted its mammoth success before the movie started. Several stars have rejected to be a part of it and later regretted. Director Rajamouli offered Kattappa’s role to Mohanlal but he couldn’t adjust the dates. Ramyakrishna’s role was offered to Sridevi but she demanded a hefty amount which producers are not ready to pay. Even Tamannah’s role was initially offered to Sonam Kapoor but she rejected citing various reasons.
Now, here’s an interesting update. Actor Sonu Sood recently said in an interview that he was offered a role in Baahubali but has to leave the offer as he could not allot bulk dates to Rajamouli. It’s not confirmed which role was offered to Sonu Sood either Adivi Sesh’s role or Subbarju’s role. May be Rajamouli will give a clarity on the same in any of his upcoming interviews.
On the work front, Rajamouli is busy with the script works of his upcoming movie with Mahesh Babu which will hit the floors in the mid of 2023.
