The senior heroes of the 80s and 90s Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna and Venkatesh though still doing good, they are still overlooked by some of the top directors who are ruling the Tollywood. Directors like Rajamouli, Trivikram and Sukumar haven’t worked with any of these top heroes till date. They are focusing mainly on the current generation heroes and hardly tried to go ahead with any of these four heroes.
On the other hand, directors like Boyapati, Vinayak, Puri Jagannadh, Kortala and most recently Anil Ravipudi have worked with both the senior and current generation heroes. There’s a strong buzz that Rajamouli might consider Balakrishna for an important role in his next movie with Mahesh Babu. However, there’s no official confirmation on the same. Earlier, Trivikram was supposed to do a movie with Venkatesh, but it was not materialized. Let’s hope anyone of these directors come out with an interesting movie with one of these senior heroes.
