“The Great Pre-Wedding Show” Pre-Release Press Meet: A Heartfelt Celebration Of Team Spirit and Rural Roots

Ahead of its theatrical release, The Great Pre-Wedding Show team came together for a lively pre-release press meet, reflecting on a year-long journey filled with laughter, learning, and love for authentic storytelling. The event was graced by the film’s core crew and cast, including hero Thiruveer, heroine Teena Sravya, director Rahul Srinivas, producer Sandeep, music director Suresh Bobbili, and actor Rohan Roy, among others.

Speaking at the event, Music Director Suresh Bobbili said, “This film is a strong rural story with light-hearted comedy. It was truly a great opportunity to work on this project. My sincere thanks to Thiruveer Anna and producer Sandeep for choosing me to be part of it. All the actors have aced their performances, which helped me tremendously during the background score composition. The producer gave me so much freedom, I even brought singers from Srikakulam for one of the songs. He trusted me completely, and for that, I’d gladly do every film with him for free! A special thanks to Thaman for sharing our song with just one call, and to Surendra Naidu gaaru for his constant support.”

Actor Rohan Roy expressed gratitude, saying, “I want to thank the influencers and the media first, their honest feedback gave us the confidence we have today. Our team wants to take this film to every household, and that’s only possible with your help. I also want to thank Megastar Chiranjeevi gaaru, who always stands by good content. Tomorrow is the big day, and I can’t wait to meet everyone at the theatres.”

Heroine Teena Sravya shared her heartfelt excitement, saying, “My sincere thanks to the media, who stood by our film from day one. They’ve been incredibly supportive. Special thanks to director Rahul Srinivas and Thiruveer gaaru, it was a privilege working with them. Since yesterday’s premieres, I’ve been awake all night refreshing X, checking the hashtag, and reading every review. I didn’t find a single negative one, which gave me huge relief. It made me feel that we truly made a good film.” She also lightened the mood by reciting a playful poetic mimicry inspired by Venkatesh’s “Nuvvu Naku Nacchav,” saying, “Telugu Audience Devuda, O Manchi Telugu Audience Devuda!”

Producer Sandeep reflected on the film’s humble beginnings: “I had no idea how to make a film. My schoolmate and Executive Producer Prajnay came one day and said, ‘There’s a small film, why don’t we do it?’ That’s how it all began. The production house name ‘7PM’ came from our friends’ WhatsApp group. From day one, it was Prajnay and hero Thiruveer who carried the film on their shoulders. I never faced a single issue during the entire process. Special thanks to my 7PM group, they supported me not just with words but even financially.”

Director Rahul Srinivas shared, “Exactly a year ago, on November 7, 2024, we rolled our first shot and we’re releasing the film on the same date this year. That alone reflects our journey. I’ve panicked and felt anxious many times these past two months, but yesterday’s media premiere truly gave me confidence and peace. I finally felt we made a good film. My only request to the audience is don’t come alone. Bring someone with you, and you’ll enjoy it even more.”

Hero Thiruveer summed it up with characteristic honesty: “Being an actor and being the face of a film are two different things. It’s a huge responsibility, but I’m glad to hold it because we made a good film with a lot of honesty and no compromises. From the start, Rahul and I discussed every aspect in detail, and we were always open with each other. November holds a special place for me George Reddy, Pareshan, and now this film. Yesterday’s premiere boosted my confidence even more. This morning, I saw appreciation posts from Rahul Ravindran, whose ‘The Girlfriend’ releases on the same day. Venkat Kalyan, who made Jatadhara, which is also releasing on the same day, have started out making short films together. I genuinely wish that all three films succeed because when every artist grows, the industry flourishes.”

The Great Pre-Wedding Show releases worldwide in theatres on November 7, promising a refreshing blend of humour, heart, and the emotional quirks of small-town relationships.
