This action packed film giving audience thrilling cinematic experience. In this background, the film unit celebrated the success of Devil in Hyderabad. In the press meet held on this occasion,
Nandamuri Kalyan Ram expressed his gratitude, saying, “I would like to sincerely thank all Nandamuri fans and the Telugu audience who made our movie ‘Devil’ a big success. I am indebted to everyone. If the film is successful, the industry will be good. So, thanks to everyone who was a part of the success of our film. This is our two years of hard work. Making the film in the 1940s backdrop isn’t easy. Srikanth Vissa traveled with the story for a year. A few days after the start of this film, our DOP Soundar Rajan underwent a heart operation. Doctors advised three to four months of rest for him, but he stepped into the sets within eighteen days. It shows his love for cinema.”
“Abhishek Nama garu, our producer, and director are the reason for rich production values; he did everything without compromising on the budget. Vasu garu, Mohit, and Naveen all handled the rest of the production matters well. Our whole team worked hard. Srikanth Vissa has given a very good story. I thought Bimbisara range dialogues will never come, but Devil dialogues are getting an extraordinary response in theaters. Everyone is appreciating the story and screenplay; our art director Gandhi has created excellent sets. In our movies, we have done shoots in the best sets. Venkat Master designed the action sequences brilliantly. I have a good connection with Editor Tammiraju garu from Pataas, and it still continues. Our costume designer Rajesh has done a lot of research and brought a new feel to the film. The costumes were brought from Italy. When it comes to actors, Shafi garu played a very important role. Also, thanks to everyone, including Samyuktha Menon and Malavika Nair. I wondered how Harshavardhan would give the music. Because background score is the main pillar of our film. But director and producer Abhishek told me to go ahead with confidence. After Animal, he scored another success,” added Kalyan Ram.
Actor Shafi expressed his gratitude, stating, “Thanks to Abhishek Nama garu, who believed in the Devil story. We struggled a lot while making the film in the 1940s backdrop. Imagine how many struggles, how many hardships Indians would have faced at that time. Special thanks to Kalyan Ram, who believed in such a story and acted as a hero. Soundar Rajan’s cinematography, Gandhi garu’s sets, Tammiraju garu’s editing, Harshavardhan Rameshwar’s music, and background score are all receiving good praise. Devil is a good treat for Nandamuri fans.”
Abhishek Nama, director, and producer of the film expressed his emotions, saying, “The phenomenal response to our Devil from the audience made me emotional. Because it is two and a half years of hardship. If you watch the movie with the audience, you will get an extraordinary response. We were able to make this blockbuster product with the support of the entire team. With Kalyan Ram’s support and guidance, we were able to make a good film like Devil. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey.”
