With the advancement of technology, fraudsters are making the best use of technology for scams, and WhatsApp scam is one such scam. The fraudsters use a false identity to scam people. Here’s one such instance involving native Telugu actress Chandini Chowdary.
The actress has been dragged into an international WhatsApp scam and the actress took to Instagram to comment about the same.
“For the past few months, many international numbers have been using my number and also that of my colleagues to scam others by asking for personal information. I hereby urge everyone not to react to such scams” Chandini wrote on Instagram.
Chandini even shared a couple of screenshots of international scammers using Chandini’s photo to chat with others and ask for sensitive information.
She urged everyone not to entertain such illicit chats and insensitive conversations on social media and other texting platforms.
