Considered to be the most eligible bachelor in the television world, actor Shaheer Sheikh has finally found his mate in Ruchikaa Kapoor. Having broken many hearts, the telly star released the pictures of his court wedding. Veteran actress Supriya Pilgaonkar was present at the court to bless the new couple. Shaheer wore a simple white kurta pyjama, while Ruchikaa wore a blue suit for the ceremony.
Shaheer Sheikh made his mark among television viewers ever since he started his career and went on to become a heartthrob of sorts among young viewers. Also a model, he was initially recognised for playing Arjuna in Mahabharat(2013). He played Devrath Dixit in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and Abir Rajvansh in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, to name a few. However, his debut was with Kya Mast Hai Life, which saw him playing a teenager who loves music and playing guitar, as Veer Mehra.
The wedding took place a few days back and ceremonies were held at Jammu, in Shaheer’s hometown and at Ruchikaa’s residence at Mumbai. Shaheer has been sharing pictures regularly even prior to marriage, where he teased his fans about his relationship status. For starters, he posted a picture of him holding the hand of Ruchikaa with a ring. Then, he expelled all doubts and confessed to being in a relationship with Ruchikaa, who happens to be a studio executive. The pair met in 2018 and after one and half years of courtship got married in 2020.
Their sudden wedding took many by surprise. Ekta Kapoor even mentioned Ruchikaa Kapoor as Begum Shaheer Sheikh and wished them all luck. Bollywood stars like Bhumi Pednekar, Rajkumar Rao, Sonam Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Angad Bedi, Patralekha took to social media to post their wishes for the newly-weds, while expressing their surprise.
