The filmmaker claimed that the team had spent nearly 80 crores and suggested that aspiring filmmakers could have made 10 films with that budget. Director Raghavendra Rao questioned the validity of his claims, and Mega brother Nagababu used foul language, creating controversy.
However, now that the movie has won an Oscar, Tammareddy Bharadwaj has released a new video congratulating the team. He expressed his joy at Keeravani’s win and clarified that his previous comments were not meant as criticism but simply an observation of the amount of money spent on promotions. He stated that the industry is like his family, and he is thrilled about the recognition ‘RRR’ has received. He congratulated Rajamouli, Keeravani, Chandrabose, and the entire ‘RRR’ team on their success.
